LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Pupils should attend School regularly. Ninety percent (90%) attendance is necessary forpromotion.
- Leave of absence is granted on a previous written application from parents or guardians but only
for serious reasons.
- All are expected to attend School on the closing and reopening day after each of vacations.
Strict action will be taken against defaulters.
- Unexplained absence over a period of week renders a pupil liable to have his/her name struck off
the rolls. If she is re-admitted, the admission fee must be paid again.
- Pupils who have been recently suffering from or exposed to any infectious disease will not be
allowed to attend School unless they bring an MBBS doctor's certificate to state that period of
quarantine is over. This is in addition to the note of absence from the parents/guardians.
- Appointments with doctors, dentists etc. must not be arranged during School hours.
- In case of absence without leave, the pupil on returning to School must have the reason of absence
entered and signed by parents or guardians on the Non-Attendance and Leave Record in the School
Diary. The same should be signed by the Principal before she is allowed into the class.
- The non attendance and leave record page in the diary must be duly filled & signed even application
is submitted in the office. An application in MANDATORYfor absence of 3 days and above.
- In case of absence due to illness, it is mandatory to submit an MBBS doctor's certificate with a
photocopy of the prescription.
- It is not advisable for the student to appear for unit test/examination if they are unwell. Students
will not be permitted to leave the School for any reason whatsoever after appearing for the
unit test/periodic test/term exam.
- During periodic test/ examination, permission will not be granted for participating in any activity
which is not concerned with the School. No retest will be conducted in such cases.
- ATTENDANCE ON NATIONALDAYS IS COMPULSORY.
